Technical bit.

We've had quite a few requests from people asking how we built this website.

So here's what we used.

Initially most of the site was written by hand in tables, using Notepad and Paint Shop Pro to optimize the images.

It was and is more fun coding by hand, but it is less time consuming and more can be achieved using a WYSIWYG editor.

We now use Dreamweaver MX and Adobe Photoshop for image editing etc.

The site was launched in December 1999 - the purpose - to show the world what a great place Grimsby is.

The highlight, since launch, was undoubtedly an appearance in .net in March 2000.

A lot of Grimsby exiles have commented on how much the Town has changed since their departure. Grimsby has changed quite a bit since these pictures were taken back in 1999, and we will be updating the site very soon.
